Juliet Vaginal Rejuvenation

Gentle, Hormone-Free Treatment for Vaginal Health and Comfort

Changes to intimate health are common following childbirth, during menopause and as part of the natural ageing process. Many women experience vaginal dryness, discomfort during intimacy, reduced elasticity or mild bladder leakage, yet often assume these changes are simply something they have to live with.

Juliet stimulates the body’s natural regenerative processes to improve the health, hydration and elasticity of vaginal tissue without hormones or surgery. Using precise laser technology, Juliet encourages collagen remodelling to restore tissue quality and structural support with minimal downtime.

Every treatment at Cambridge Laser Clinic begins with a detailed consultation with our experienced female nurse prescriber, who will take the time to understand your symptoms, assess your suitability and create a personalised treatment plan. Your treatment is also carried out by your female nurse prescriber, providing continuity of care throughout.

What is Juliet Vaginal Rejuvenation?

Juliet is an advanced Erbium (2940nm) laser developed specifically to treat female intimate health concerns associated with menopause, childbirth and ageing.

The laser delivers highly controlled energy into the vaginal tissues, creating a natural healing response that stimulates collagen production and tissue remodelling. As new collagen develops, the vaginal tissues become healthier, stronger and more elastic.

One of Juliet’s unique features is its dual-phase treatment protocol. The first phase gently renews the surface tissues using fractional laser technology, while the second delivers controlled thermal energy into the deeper connective tissue to encourage long-term collagen regeneration.

Unlike hormone therapy or surgery, Juliet works by supporting the body’s own repair mechanisms, offering a minimally invasive treatment with little downtime.

How Does Juliet Work?

Juliet combines two complementary treatment phases during a single procedure.

JULIET C

The first stage uses fractional laser energy to create microscopic treatment channels within the vaginal lining. These tiny treatment zones stimulate tissue renewal while preserving the surrounding healthy tissue, allowing rapid healing.

JULIET W

The second stage delivers gentle thermal energy into the deeper connective tissue beneath the vaginal lining. This activates fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing collagen, encouraging tissue remodelling and improving long-term support.

Together, these two stages improve tissue hydration, elasticity and structural integrity as new collagen develops naturally over the weeks following treatment.

What Can Juliet Treat?

Juliet may be recommended for women experiencing intimate health concerns associated with menopause, childbirth or ageing.

Vulvovaginal Atrophy (VVA)

Declining oestrogen levels can cause the vaginal tissues to become thinner, drier and less elastic, leading to dryness, irritation and discomfort. Juliet encourages tissue regeneration to improve hydration and tissue quality without hormones.

Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM)

GSM describes the vaginal, sexual and urinary symptoms that commonly develop after menopause, including dryness, burning, reduced lubrication, painful intercourse, urinary urgency and recurrent urinary tract infections. Juliet supports tissue regeneration to improve vaginal health and function.

Mild Stress Urinary Incontinence

Weakening of the connective tissues supporting the bladder and urethra may cause urine leakage during coughing, sneezing or exercise. Juliet is designed for women with mild stress urinary incontinence, stimulating collagen production to improve tissue support.

Loss of Vaginal Elasticity

Pregnancy, childbirth and ageing can reduce the strength and elasticity of the vaginal wall. Juliet promotes collagen remodelling to restore tissue quality and improve structural support over time.

Your Treatment Journey

1. Confidential Consultation

Your journey begins with a confidential consultation with our female nurse prescriber, who will discuss your symptoms, medical history, concerns and treatment goals.

2. Clinical Assessment

A specialist female menopause doctor will assess and examine you to confirm whether Juliet is an appropriate treatment for you.

3. Your Juliet Treatment

If Juliet is suitable, your treatment will be carried out by our experienced female nurse prescriber, providing continuity of care throughout your treatment journey.

What Happens During Treatment?

Juliet is performed in the clinic using a specially designed intravaginal handpiece with a sterile single-use cover.

Your treatment will be carried out by an experienced female nurse prescriber, who will guide you through the procedure and ensure you feel informed and comfortable throughout.

The laser is applied throughout the vaginal canal using the dual-phase protocol, combining fractional resurfacing with deeper collagen stimulation during the same appointment. Treatment is generally completed within 20 to 30 minutes and is usually well tolerated, with most women describing a sensation of warmth and only mild discomfort.

Before treatment, your female nurse prescriber will review your medical history to ensure Juliet is appropriate for you.

Recovery

Recovery is typically straightforward, with little disruption to normal daily activities.

Patients are generally advised to avoid sexual intercourse for approximately 72 hours following treatment while the tissues heal. Your practitioner will provide personalised aftercare instructions before you leave the clinic.

Clinical Evidence

Juliet is supported by a number of published clinical studies investigating the use of Erbium laser technology for the treatment of vulvovaginal atrophy (VVA), Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM) and mild stress urinary incontinence (SUI).

Studies referenced within the Juliet clinical literature have reported improvements in vaginal health, patient-reported symptoms and overall quality of life following treatment. Researchers have also observed improvements in vaginal health scores and tissue condition, with many women reporting reduced dryness, greater comfort and improved intimate wellbeing after treatment.

In addition to these clinical outcomes, laboratory studies examining treated tissue have demonstrated changes consistent with the body’s natural healing response. These include improved epithelial structure, new collagen formation, increased blood vessel development and tissue remodelling, all of which support the way Juliet is designed to work by encouraging natural regeneration rather than relying on hormones or surgery.

During your consultation, we will discuss the available clinical evidence, assess your symptoms and medical history, and explain whether Juliet is an appropriate treatment for you, along with the results you can realistically expect based on your individual circumstances.
